Good news for our local landscape! Plans are afoot to carefully manage some trees on Newark Road, near Stone Stacks, ensuring Southwell continues to look beautiful for years to come. It's all part of a thoughtful process to remove and replant, keeping our conservation area thriving.
T1 - ash - removal due to die back T2 - ash - removal due to die back T3 - ash - lower class of die back but due to the cost involved in reducing the tree to then potentially have to remove it in a year or 2 anyway, we would like to remove it. All 3 would be on a remove and replant basis. Replanting with 3 field maple in a similar location to keep the landscape value for years to come.
